So Nathan and I are going to start a website of handmade things. Like stuffed animals, pillows, and other things we want to make. Anyone is welcome to place their handmade stuff on our site once we have the it all hammered out and stuff but I wanted to post my first monster pillow creation.

cool!!! why don't you two start a toy company?
Well, that's kind of the idea! Except the hope is it will be more than just toys and stuffed animals, but really any kind of creative handmade thing we (or anyone else who wants to be a part of it) would like to sell.
I, personally, want to start myself out with stuffed animals and maybe toys. I'd like to try experimenting with magnets and wire skeletons and other such things to make interesting poseable stuffed animals with accessories and such.
I got the magnet idea from a baby doll that our niece got for hir birthday- it had this pacifier that magnetically stuck to the doll's mouth- I thought it was super clever; I'd never seen anything like that before in a stuffed toy.
The wire skeleton thing is my own deal- I went through a period where I was really excited about making stop-motion animation, an∂ had a few (30 second long or so) test animations. It was lots of fun- and I think it'd be really cool to be able to design my own poseable characters.
Just need to find my video camera, which has been somewhat MIA since the move. I might've accidentally put it in storage, which would be kind of lame.
Anyway, we'll keep you posted for sure!
